The weather is positively dreadful. Has been for the last week, and even if it is not raining, it’s grey, overcast and miserably cold. Sadly, this day is of the latter; the road and the sidewalk is practically one big puddle as the sewers quickly went past their capacity.
The man considers all this has he stops the poor rain-drenched woman to hand her his spare umbrella. Bewildered at first, she thanks him profusely while he assures her none is needed; he’s just doing what any decent person would do.
Doffing his hat, he walks on. Stopping at his intersection, he just manages to turn around in time to see the womans surprise when spiders fall out, and her shock when she finds out it’s not plastic.
